The location
Teşvikiye Caddesi No:9/12, Şişli, Istanbul 34365. This is a quiet, tree-lined street in the heart of Nişantaşı — walkable from the major hotels in the district, well-served by the metro (M2 line, Osmanbey station) and by taxi.
The building is a modern, well-maintained medical office. The clinic occupies a discreet, private floor with separate entrance and waiting area.
The clinical team
Doç. Dr. Erdal personally leads every consultation, operates every procedure, and conducts every follow-up. There is no "patient coordinator" who substitutes for the surgeon, and no surrogate surgeon for international patients.
Supporting team:
- Clinic coordinator (who handles logistics and international patient communication; this role does not involve clinical decisions)
- Registered surgical nurses
- Independent anaesthesiologist (for sedation/general)
- Visiting consultant cardiologist (for pre-op clearance if needed)
The consultation visit
A typical pre-op consultation takes about 60 minutes:
- Medical history review, including medications, allergies, prior procedures
- Facial examination including palpation of the cheek tissue
- Photo documentation (front, profile, three-quarter, smile, animation views)
- Discussion of your goals, expectations, and concerns
- Doç. Dr. Erdal's clinical assessment, including a frank discussion of whether the procedure is suitable for you
- If suitable: surgical plan, anaesthesia options, expected recovery, costs
- Time for your questions, with no rush
If you're an international patient who has already done a remote photo consultation, this in-person visit happens the day before surgery. If you're local, it happens at a separate appointment.
Operating theatre
Surgery is performed in a fully-equipped operating theatre within an accredited surgical facility. Standards include continuous anaesthesia monitoring, hospital-grade sterilisation, emergency drugs and equipment on hand, and immediate access to advanced care if required.
For combined procedures or when general anaesthesia is preferred, an independent qualified anaesthesiologist (consultant level) is present throughout.
Recovery area
After surgery, you spend 2–3 hours in a private recovery bay with continuous nursing care. Companion can be present during recovery. Light refreshments are served. Discharge happens once you're stable, comfortable, and have received in-person and written post-op instructions.
Clinic transport returns you to your hotel.
