Why we don't publish prices
Turkish Ministry of Health regulation (under the Public Health Law) prohibits aesthetic surgery clinics from publishing specific prices in advertising materials, including websites. This applies equally to local and international patients.
This is not a sales tactic — it's legal compliance. Clinics that publish specific prices on their websites are either operating outside Turkish regulation, or are not Turkish aesthetic clinics.
What we can do is provide quotes via private WhatsApp or email to specific enquiries, including a personalised quote based on your case (buccal fat alone vs combined procedures, type of anaesthesia, hotel/transport package preferences).
What determines the total cost
- Surgical fee. Includes the surgeon, the surgical procedure itself, and routine follow-up.
- Anaesthesia fee. Local with sedation is less expensive than general anaesthesia.
- Theatre and facility fee. Covers the operating room, equipment, nursing, and recovery bay.
- Pre-op clearance. Blood tests and ECG. Sometimes included, sometimes separate.
- Post-op medication. Painkillers, antibiotic mouthwash, sometimes a one-time analgesic prescription.
- Combined procedures. Adding masseter Botox, chin filler, or rhinoplasty all add cost — but these are typically meaningful additions that improve the final result and are worth budgeting for explicitly.

Our standard buccal fat removal package quote includes:
- Pre-op video or WhatsApp consultation with Doç. Dr. Erdal
- In-person consultation on arrival
- Pre-op clearance bloodwork and ECG
- The procedure itself with local anaesthesia + sedation
- Theatre, nursing, and recovery bay costs
- Post-op medication starter kit
- All in-clinic follow-up visits during your Istanbul stay
- WhatsApp follow-up support for 6 months post-op
- Airport transfers (IST direction)
What's typically extra
- Hotel accommodation (we don't arrange or commission hotels — book independently to keep costs transparent)
- Meals and incidentals
- General anaesthesia (instead of local + sedation) — adds about 20%
- Combined procedures (masseter Botox, chin filler, etc.)
- Sabiha Gökçen airport transfers
- Travel insurance
How to think about value
The cost differential between Turkey and Western markets is real and meaningful — typically 50–70% less in Turkey for equivalent surgical quality. But cost alone is a bad reason to choose a surgeon.
Better framing:
- Identify 2–3 surgeons in your home country whose work and approach you trust. Note their fees.

- Compare total costs including travel and accommodation.
- If Turkey wins on cost and you trust the surgeon equally, Turkey is a sensible choice. If your trust differs, choose on trust — the price difference doesn't justify a worse-quality surgeon.
Buccal fat removal is irreversible. Choose the surgeon you trust most, not the cheapest one.
Payment
We accept:

- Bank transfer (international transfer; ~3 business days)
- Major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard; small surcharge applies)
A small refundable deposit secures the surgery date. The balance is paid at the clinic, in person, on the day of in-person consultation or surgery.

Will you give me a price over WhatsApp?
Yes — once you've sent photos and we've assessed candidacy, we provide a personalised quote via private message. This is normal Turkish practice.
Are payment plans available?
We don't offer interest-bearing financing, but we can arrange a 2-payment schedule (deposit + balance) for surgeries scheduled more than 8 weeks ahead. Third-party medical financing is available through international providers and is your choice.
Why does the cost vary between patients?
Cases differ in complexity, anaesthesia choice, combined procedures, and length of recovery monitoring. A simple buccal fat alone with local sedation costs less than the same procedure combined with masseter Botox or chin filler. Our quotes reflect what your specific case needs.
